The heart of WISE is our school program. From September to April, WISE instructors, who are also full time students at the University of Manitoba, visit schools across Winnipeg and in nearby rural communities delivering fun and engaging presentations on many topics of science and engineering. Over the past 15 years WISE has employed over 50 science, engineering, and environment students as WISE coordinators. Our philosophy is to have the audience members able to relate directly to the presenter, both in age and life-experience. Learn more...

Our WISE coordinators are asked lots of questions during the many presentations that they deliver to schools all over Manitoba. They try their best to answer those questions, but sometimes they get stumped! When that happens they will usually come back to the university and try to find out that answer by either looking it up or asking someone else who might know. Learn more...

It's Time for Summer Camps!

We're going to be all over Manitoba offering WISE Kid-Netic Energy Science & Engineering Summer Camps!

Great fun for grades 4 - 6 students! We offer a great enrichment camp with hands on activities in a variety of subject areas. This summer camp theme days are: How It's Made, Marine Biology, Natural Disasters, The Work of Famous Scientists and Forensic Science.
