Our WISE coordinators are asked lots of questions during the many presentations that they deliver to schools all over Manitoba. They try their best to answer those questions, but sometimes they get stumped! The heart of WISE is our school program. From September to April, WISE instructors, who are also full time students at the University of Manitoba, visit schools across Winnipeg and in nearby rural communities delivering fun and engaging presentations on many topics of science and engineering. Aaaah the joy and challenges of summer. Kids look forward to the two months of summery goodness – no classes, no schedules… boredom? Not at Kid-Netic Energy Science and Engineering Summer Camp! Kid-Netic Energy provides an exciting world of discovery and innovation with daily themes and a multitude of projects and activities. Kid-Netic Energy, the WISE summer camp, provides affordable week-long programs in communities all over Manitoba. We'd love to introduce kids in your community to innovative careers and people. We bring the bright minds of tomorrow right to your main street. Whether our instructors are studying bridges or bugs at the University of Manitoba they'll ignite a passion for science and engineering in every camper. Everyday campers have hours of fun learning outside a classroom with their friends. We offer a variety of topics and can even design a camp around your community's interests.
